Another Win !! From Prime the Animation in Valenc

Another Win !! From Prime the Animation in Valencia ;The Man Who Mends Things aka Éric has won from a very big international field Two special commendations from the judges ( sort of silver medals or second places) in best International film and best Experimental Animation ie good and new animation techniques. I can’t honestly say I really understand but it’s great news … and very thrilling I had to record an acceptance speech and said Gracias Valencia I am delighted and very grateful to receive this award It is such a new beginning at my age , but Eric has a lot more to communicate about our precious world and this precious thing we call life he has more to communicate about hope , the past the future and the present and he and I believe we could choose to make a difference for our world ..The scènes pictured are The Mending, The Giraffe , and Eric’s Workshop and are available as Giclee Prints along with 7 others from Churchgate Gallery Porlock )

STUDIO 10 at @eastquaywatchet is home to The Man W

STUDIO 10 at @eastquaywatchet is home to The Man Who Mends Things from tomorrow (Weds 4th Oct) until Saturday (7th.) The Studio will be open from 10am-5pm everyday with the film on a loop every 10 minutes. Hopey and Millie have been busy hanging the exhibition to go with it. I’m aiming to be there on Thursday afternoon from 2-3 and same again on Friday. Hope to see you there!

Eric Has been around for a long time in my work and then later as a film I can only say how grateful I am for all the support and Love I have received and how excited I am that he is going to the Spanish Speaking World , I have been trying to respond to all the wonderful Comments on Facebook and Instagram and welcoming all my new followers . I am SO excited to announce The Man Who Mends Thin

I am SO excited to announce The Man Who Mends Things is going global. I’m delighted that my short stop motion animation has been selected for the 2023 Suncine Festival in Barcelona. Que maravillosa! Suncine is the oldest environmental film festival in the world and takes place from 2 - 10 November. It has been selected for the Monarca Award and will be available for people to watch through the festival’s online platform in Spain and Mexico as well as via public television Betevé (Barcelona television) and Once TV (Mexico.)

Mind Moths …. The Imagination …. Thankyou everyone who came to Roadwater to see The Man Who Mends Things (aka Eric) . I made the film to add my voice to the cacophony of voices calling for change . I am very very happy that so many people came and heard his voice . We live in such a beautiful place I am only sad that I couldn’t be there but Hope and Lucy have told me all about it and I have the little brown visitors book . So Thankyou and please tell anyone you know who came and is not on Social Media Thankyou from me and Thankyou for the donations we raised for the village hall . Don’t Forget !!! Roadwater Showing of “The Man Who Mends Things “ on Saturday 2nd September, From 11am to 6pm , Downstairs , Free Entry , Donations to the Village Hall . There will be approximately 4 showings an hour and a short film allowing time to go in and out ! It will be run by my Daughter Hope and Lucy Large , who are both fully up to speed . I am not going to be able to give a commitment to being there I’m very sorry and just not well enough But please go
There are signed prints from the film available and these can be ordered from either Churchgate or Courtyard Framing so that you can get the size and shape you want and a frame too if you need it
There will be a portfolio of the available prints each one named and numbered so you will know what’s what !!! And I have put up three images to give you a Taster …

The Man Who Mends Things ( aka Eric) will be showing at Roadwater Village Hall , Upstairs, on Saturday 2nd September, from 11am to 6pm. Entry is free , donations please to the Village Hall Trust there will be a tin or plate or something available. (Too many there’s) But there will be four showings per hour ,on the big screen I will put up a further post this week when I have more information as Like the whole of Eric’s career the progress is haphazard and I am back in hospital. For that reason I won’t be out of Hospital til perhaps Wednesday and will not be able to be there but lots of you know me anyway so can message me easily. Courtyard Gallery in Minehead and Churchgate in Porlock have been a huge support in all of this and prints from the film will be available from them I will Hashtag them Bye for Now Ann X #somersetfilm #churchgategallery
