All along the coastal path in the autumn and winter in Pembrokeshire are sheep mainly Welsh Mules ( a cross between a blue faced or border leicester ram and a welsh mountain or beulah ewe producing a hardy prolific, milky breed)
The ewes tend to have their tails left long and to me this seems to enhance the biblical nature of their existence as they clamber around in the most improbable circumstances
